Parents and caregivers are the key to successful interventions.

In behavior therapy we use the term “change agents” to describe the role parents and caregivers play in successful therapeutic outcomes. My goal is to maximize your interactions and time to effectively produce behavior changes for your loved one.

I understand the overwhelming feeling parents can have to juggle all the roles they are required to fill.

My goal is to make interventions straightforward and manageable.

Behavioral consultation services often accompany 1:1 direct therapy but can also be provided as a single service.

In a consultation session, you can first expect a brief interview and assessment to determine areas of tension or frustration that have caused you to seek support. During initial sessions, we identify what strategies have been tried but were unsuccessful in the past. I will also help you identify and expand your current support network.

In sessions, we will work together to create intervention strategies to support your needs. I utilize components of behavioral therapy to help you learn through video modeling, role play, behavioral skills training, and easy-to-follow written guides.
